I took the photo in the header from a bus on a visit to Oxford, England, 2008. Someone was trying to kick a soccer ball into the hoop.

  1. Greg Herr says:

OK, December 17th was not a great day for the Kings, but today (January 7) was fun. Run, pass, then watch Marty score and rebound. Is 20/20 a double double double? Too bad he was five blocks short of a, well, something else. And I’ve seen players have dominant days while teammates stood and watched. This was something better — a team playing well and one guy playing really well. Fun, like I said. For the Braves, Mike had some nice moves in the post, and didn’t back down from Marty which kept things interesting. We couldn’t solve the inside/outside Marcia/Robert Peek thing for a while. See you next week, Mr. Carruthers, and we’ll see where we stand.
